hi everyone,i've been stalking this forum for a while but finally thought i'd post. i'm a real newbie at all thisso please excuse my ignorance. :)i wanted to clean up my father's old omega watch that he got as a wedding gift from his parents. he took the band off and put it in a safety deposit box (thinking it was worth more than the watch) and the body itself has been in a drawer for basically all of the last 30 years. i put everything back together (he's working on finding the two curved pieces but assures me they are somewhere in the house).from what i've gathered, it's an automatic 14k gold plated geneve watch. so far, everything seems to work really nicely still. the main problem is a good amount of discoloration everywhere and a small scratch on the really thick crystal. i'm going to see if i can fix that up as well. lastly, the crown looks a bit beat up from being in a drawer for 30 years too. i don't have any tools to open up the case so when i do, i'll enter it into t

Found early to mid 1900s Ladies Longines Watch never worn in box Brand New Condition. So far all i know its a 14k Gold Longines Ladies Watch that says 14k Italy. The watch has a total of 6 diamonds. I need some assistance appraising some watches for estate accounting
I'm the executor of an estate which has to be split in value between myself and another beneficiary. Among the assets are 12 watches. None of them cost more than a few hundred dollars retail and none of them are anything super rare or obscure. We're talking mostly Seikos and Citizens, a Skagen, and some miscellaneous watches that I honestly doubt are worth anything at all. What I need is a solid appraisal of their value used. I figured watch enthusiasts who know what they're looking at would be better qualified than your average watch shop or pawn shop employee at putting a number on what someone would realistically pay for these watches. If this isn't an out of line request and some of you are willing to help me out I'll go ahead and start putting up pictures and as much information as I have about them. I would really appreciate it. If it's too much trouble and nobody wants to do it would be great if someone could give me some suggestions about the best way of going about this.

Recommendations for Panerai Service
I am looking to have a couple of Panerai's serviced and would like to know if there are any watch repair specialists that anyone would recommend in the lower 48 of Continental US. One is a PAM 356 which has a Valjoux 7750 movement that I know anyone can service. The other is a PAM 244 and I'm not sure what movement it has. Thanks in advance.
