What is the difference between Carbonized and PVD?My guess is Carbonized is carbon coating by PVD technology?In other words, one can use PVD and coat say, steel, with any material? Another thing, there are different 'grades' of PVD coating right?

Well folks. My wonderful wife gave me my dream watch for my Birthday. An Omega Seamaster 2221.80. Have wanted one of these since 1995. Well what an end to 2014! I began the year Patekless and now I have 2 pieces in my vintage Rolex dominated collection! You might remember my post from August 2014 .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=368474 I sort opinion on the 5960/1A and the 5170G, the latter eventually winning the day.Well this forum certainly enables!, like Duncan (gunrnnr) it was killing me to see the influx of 5960/1A posts, a massaging of the finances this way and that, up and down and round and around, saw me give permission to Santa to do his best in seeking me out a watch. He delivered!, I'd obviously been a good lad! (though HUGE credit goes to my very understanding wife in letting me proceed and who tolerates my passion especially as I know the money I spend could be put to many other uses, especially needy family ones). WG BLRO Owners/Fans adding RG CHNR?
As a WG BLRO owner I was really hoping for a coke bezel this year but am happy with the SS BLRO that I'm set on picking up when available. But I keep coming back to photos of the RG CHNR and it's really growing on me. I can see rotating between RG and WG for daily wear and am starting to get more excited for the CHNR than I am to see the jubilee. Any other WG owners looking to add the RG and what are your thoughts?
