How one of my grails has saved me thousands of dollars
It hit me like a splash of cold water on my face. Recently I have begun to realize how one of my grails has kept thousands of dollars in my savings account. Here's my story. About two months ago I sold off a couple drawer dwellers and bought a Rolex GMT IIc (pictured below). I always liked this watch from pictures and seeing it on other's wrists, but once it went on my wrist it really hasn't come off since its "b-day" (buying day). I'm sure many of you have a similar watch, one that just seems to land on your wrist almost every day.Now, how has my GMT II saved me thousands? Simple. I have looked at a few gorgeous watches lately (GP Seahawk Pro II, Zenith Defy, GO Senator, plus a couple others) and have come this close to pulling the trigger: ][But I didn't make the buy.
