TAG Heuer CK1119.BA0328 wrist watches news:
Automatic chronographs are wonderfully complicated movements, and the race to produce the first ended with the announcement of the Chronomatic in 1969. This movement was used by Hamilton, Heuer and Breitling (to name just a few) all the way into the 1980s. Recently we were pointed to a fascinating article on OnTheDash detailing the disassembly of a Chronomatic Caliber 15, complete with scans of the official service manual. Even more interesting is who wrote this article: Gianluca – an Italian Formula One engineer for Ferrari. Check out the article on OnTheDash. 1 OF 1 Heuer Monza chronograph, powered by the Chronomatic Caliber 15 movement. ADVERTISEMENT

Hello All!I've been recently paging through the Antiquorum catalog for an upcoming auction and had 1 Major Question:Are the prices these watches go for at auction generally fair market prices or are the buyers at these types of auctions all WIS and are prices driven up as a result? One thing to be said is that I think that with one of these auctions, you can be assured that you are getting a top-shelf watch, in as described condition. Just wondering about price....Thanks!
Posted on other forums but I know there's a lot of AT love here.1. Acquire the right watch - AT 8500 Golf2. Choose the color of alligator hide. I was even able to choose which part of the hide to use for best scale patterns. Kay at Ekamon straps is great to work with at customization.3. Choose color of stitching4. Choose the size and hole placements - I did not need all the extra holes!5. Exchange emails to confirm, patiently wait to make your strap, patiently wait to be shipped from the other side of the world....then enjoy. I had a feeling it would turn out OK. The green stitching is subtle but matches the golf green of the watch perfectly. The matte brown is just right to contrast against the black dial. Just enough to make it interesting. Thanks for looking.
Hi all,Just a quick check if $5035 is a good price for the above mentioned watch Z series (2007), no box or papers in mint condition (90%). No pin holes. Its probably on the high side but a non 'Pepsi' bezel, ie a black one would also cost around this range for the 2006-2007 series and which the sellers say I could go RSC to change it for a Pepsi bezel at $60 or something like that. Is this true that I can head down to RSC for a bezel change even if my original one is black?
