- This is a pleasingly well-designed and intriguing watch.Without appearing garish, the face of the watch is quiteintricate and beautifully detailed. The packaging is alsosubstantial and my overall reception was impressive.

TW Steel CE1008R wrist watches news:
So, I just sold my coveted ORIS Modern Classic and will be buying another ORIS in the very near future. I need a dress watch, so I've narrowed this purchase down to an Artelier. I would love to get the Hunter now, but I'll have to put that off until later.Anyone know of any good online deals? I'm leaning heavily towards the Small Seconds Pointer Date, but I may consider a Complication, Chronograph or even the Date. I would also be open to discussing any good second hand buys.Let me know Thanks!
In July 2010 MB&F will unveil its most radical Machine to date: Horological Machine No4 - "Thunderbolt"."So here we are¡ the HM4 Thunderbolt Engine !I think people will start finally understanding why we call our movements 'engines'.I wanted to present the Engine alone so that all attention can be given to this amazing piece of machinery/horology. The whole idea of MB&F being about creating 'kinetic art which gives time', this HM4 engine symbolizes pretty well our creative philosophy."Maximilian B¨¹sserOwner & Chief Creative OfficerAs this image of the Engine of "Thunderbolt" reveals, Horological Machine No4 will feature a calibre that is a complete departure from any watch movement known today:
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with Oakley watches. I really like the wild look of the Oakley Blade II Stealth Black. How are they for fit and finish? I know they are a very heavy watch as they are made from true surgical steel. Is there a problem at all with the finish scratching (it is highly polished as you can see in the picture) or the Black IP coming off? Or should I consider a stainless steel version? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all,I am wondering if owners of white dial Nautilus models could share their experiences and thoughts:Is this your first or only Nautilus?Any regrets or doubt where you wonder if you should have gone with a blue or grey dial? How do you find the usage pattern, for instance do you find it more sporty/casual than a blue dial Nautilus?Has the white dial 'opened up' or somehow shown you more nuances as you have spent more time with it?Thanks!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Pros: -Looks awesome-Unique-People see it as a statement or rareCons:-Rolex won't touch a coated watch so you have to service it at another center (but, you can de-coat it and they will service it for you after it's restored to its original state)-PVD tends to wear off and rack up scratches after a while and its not pretty (can't say it adds character on this one) but depending on the quality of the coating it can make it more or less scratch resistant. -DLC apparently makes the steel a few times stronger than normal.Im curious to know what everybody thinks of a PVD/DLC watch and how many have them? Lets see some photos! Here¡¯s my 116334Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
