TW Steel TW677R wrist watches news:
Look what the Brown Truck dropped off!My first "Swiss Made" (well other than the Cricket I just found) watch. I have a bunch of Swiss Movements but this gets the crown. A 4469 is also in transit but lost the race for the crown. Only fitting that the brute take the title. LOL The Marathon is a rock.:-)
Hey all.Looking at a 10 year old full steel Navitimer II. Both boxes, all papers including warranty. Leather deployment strap. Never serviced. I haven't been able to find comparables on eBay completed auctions.Seller wants $3000, I offered $2000. Considering Breitling service is $550 plus tax, and the current leather strap is stained, and has loose stitching, I'm looking at another $300 for a new strap. Is my offer too low? Seller thinks so, but factoring in servicing, and new leather I think it's a fair offer.Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Hey folks. I have a SMP 2220.80 with a 2500D movement coax. It has had a few issues and I would like to get your opinions. First issue was the watch would randomly stop... then start again. it seemed to do this most when winding from a stop.Sent it to Omega in NJ and they found nothing wrong. 6 months later I sent it back and they did a rebuild on it. It seemed good, not stopping randomly any longer, but it seemed rough when winding it and when screwing the crown in, it seemed to continue to wind the watch. No other side affects were noticed. It ran good, kept good time, but that issue just didnt seem right. So I sent it back to Omega again. they did a full rebuild on it and kept it in QA for over a week. I got the watch back and I am basically in the same boat as before I sent it in. Rough or gritty winding on occasion and it still seems to wind when screwing in the crown. Still keeps great time, and runs for a full 2 days with no issuesAm I being picky on the winding issu
It's Speedy Tuesday over at Fratellowatches and this week there's a very special, if not unique, Omega Speedmaster, one that was actually worn in space. Here's a wristshot from last weekend when we met the owner ;)The article can be found HERE
Hey. So I have a hulk and black ceramic Daytona. My brother decided to one up my Daytona and after trying his I really liked the weight of precious metal. So considering trading my sub and Daytona for a white gold blue dial 116509 (see below). Part of me wants to do it and part of thinks it¡¯s really dumb. Talk me in or out of it. Would need a little cash on top of trade and wouldn¡¯t do anything til after Basel. IMG_0223.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
