Tag Heuer CAR2111.BA0724 wrist watches news:
When I think of Food Network Chef Mario Batali, I think "big and orange," which is a lot like the special Ernst Benz Mario Batali watches. I also keep hearing him scream "Parmigiano Reggiano" in my head. Hence the blocks of Parmesan cheese. See, it all goes to together. Haven't watched an episode of Molto Mario in a while to be aware of whether he brandishes the watch during the show, but I do know that Mr. Batali wears?? an Ernst Benz watch (with his namesake on it) about town much of the time. I've known about the orange themed watches for a while, but it wasn't until June when I got to check them out (picture above of me wearing the watch) that I thought much about them. While I don't need a butter laden Italian food themed watch in my life, you can just pretend that it is a good black and orange watch. Suddenly you have like a Halloween theme and the watch is cool again. The watches are pretty nice actually, and they make a good case for themselves being connected with a Charity. B
The Watch has a traditional CH of column-wheel-controlled 29-535 PS caliber hand wound movement and patented improvements to make the watch really reliable. The buttons on the side can be used to enable/disable the chronograph functions and a fluted Crown contributes to hand-wind of the movement.
I was watching and waiting on on Ebay for one of my final pieces that I wanted from a particular brand. 10 mins to go and my computer locks up. and I mean frozen. Got it rebooted logged back on and the auction was over, ( heavy sigh) And the hunt continues. For those of you who have seen my posts and know my current tastes yo'll relize that this piece is a bit of an oxymoron. It's a grail for me as it's been elusive and I've wanted it since I saw it and the prce keeps going up out of my range. Anyway to the oxymoron part.....the grail is an Invicta Quinotaur. Hence oxymoron. oh well.. I guess there will be another one.
I was interested in this reference about a year ago, but the appeal, for one reason or another, faded. However, it's back on my radar. I was hoping current or former owners might be willing to chime in, as well as anyone else who has considered the reference. Also, would be interested to see it side by side with a speedmaster if possible..Thanks!
New to the forum, here to ask a question about a concern over my datejust 116200 oyster clasp. I tried to pull out the easy link extension but forgot which part of the clasp the extension was located, I basically pulled on the part that anchors to close the clasp only to realize a few seconds later that The easy link extension was on the opposite side. My question is, how strong/durable is the side of the clasp that I pulled, physically the clasp is working fine but would like to hear anyone who knows more about it.
