Breitling C1335653-A619-739P wrist watches news:
I have seen that older models were just automatic, and the newer ones are chronometer certified. Do they use different movements? For example, I was looking at the old speedmaster date 3513.50, which says automatic, the new one 3210.50 says automatic chronometer. Now I know that Chronometer means that it was tested by the COSC. But are they both using the same movement?Thank You
Dear Omega-Fans,today I would like to take the opportunity to show some pictures of my Speedmaster Ref. 345.0808 in celebrating the launch of Apollo 11 40 years ago:The definition of the goal (John F. Kennedy, 25th May 1961):”°I believe that this nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a man on the moon and returning him safely to the earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important for the long-range exploration of space; and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish.”±An interesting operational equipment, which took part in the mission:(Source: NASA, Handbook of Pilot Operational Equipment for Manned Space Flight, CD42-A/SL-997, 1973) Not all ”°timer”± worked well:(Source: NASA, Apollo 11 Mission Report, MSC-00171, November 1969)Due to the malfunction of the timer in the Lunar Module (LM), Armstrong left his Speedmaster in the LM as a backup. Armstrong therefore wore no Speedmas
Hi guys I'm looking to buy my first "nice" watch and want to make sure I get it right the first time so I won't have to buy a new one in a long time. I entered the watch market looking to only spend $200, but I then extended it to $250 and now looking at watches I may extend it all the way to $350 depending on how far that extra $100 takes me. This is where you guys come in and tell me what you think about the watches I'm looking at and if you can justify spending the extra $100.Thanks so much in advance!!Here's one for $262Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Chronograph-BL5250-53LAnother for $255Citizen-Eco-Drive-Titanium-Chronograph-AT0400-57EAnd here are the watches in the $350 Neighborhood. Let me know what you guys think about these ones and if its worth the $100 jump from the other 2 watches. The Calibre 8700 for $356Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Calendar-BL8000-54LAnd lastly, this one for $330Citizen-Eco-Drive-Perpetual-Chronograph-BL5350-59LTHank you again!!
Hey guys!My giant Elgin sign arrived yesterday, been looking for something like this for YEARS now.It is simply "ELGIN" in block letters that are cast aluminum.I put a 1918 Elgin Trench Watch on it to give it some scale. They are 12" in height and they are pretty heavy, the "G" alone weighs just under 4 pounds. These letters were once mounted on the side of a building in New York.I want to mount them on my shop wall but I am having trouble due to the weigh.Toggle bolts will probably not work.On the back of each letter there are 4 holes for mounting bolts.I'll bring one of the letters with me to HD to find the proper bolts for the threading on the back side of the letters.I am thinking about buying a nice piece of wood and cutting it down to 52" x 15" x 1"This would be good spacing for the ELGIN letters. Then turn each letter upside-down and put a long piece of construction paper over the letters. With a pencil punch holes where the mounting bolt holes are located to make a stencil of the m
