Baume & Mercier Baume & Mercier 33365 wrist watches news:
This week's Bring A Loupe will be all about amazing vintage watches, featuring many of my absolute favorites, soon to become yours too. You will discover a Royal Oak in platinum, some of the greatest pre-Daytona chronographs from Rolex, and plenty of mythical Movado, LeCoultre, and Universal Geneve watches as well. In my auction picks I also identified two questionable lots, but rest assured that the other pieces will more than make for the early disappointment. This is your Bring a Loupe for July 24, 2015. A Very, Very Rare Royal Oak Jumbo In PLATINUM 1 OF 16 This might be the ultimate Royal Oak, we did warn you four years ago. It looks almost like any other regular Royal Oak Jumbo until you focus on the dial. Surprise, the traditional tapisserie pattern is gone but there is a good reason: this Royal Oak is in PLATINUM! This model was intended as a celebration piece for the 125th anniversary of Audemars Piguet but it met with very limited enthusiasm back in 19
Dear members,I recently baught a mid-size Omega SMP quartz (pre-owned) wich is beutiful.Last week I received a call from the shop of wich I baught it from, the dealer told me they have the mid-size SMP, although an old one (the red hand faded to orange, and the blue bezel became slightly brighter blue) but an automatic.I personally favours automatic watches. I came to check the watch and noticed it doesn't have the chronometer writing on the dial, although it's automatic.I really want to make the switch, give my quartz back, add 100$ and take the automatic.Does old SMP series didn't have the writing or should I be suspecious? Thanks in advanced,Gal.

Can someone please tell me current retail prices of the ss, fc, and ceramic versions of the diver in the US?
Gents (and ladies), I noticed something off on my SkyD dial but unable to pinpoint until I took a pic. The Rolex font seem thin and spaced quite apart. Googled for images, seem like this font is more common on white dial while other colours have bolder font. Is that the case?
