- Gave this to my husband as a gift. It's not too large or bulky, very simple and tasteful. The diamonds are tiny of course, but this is a great value on a watch that he can wear to the office every day.

- I gave this watch to my 12 year old daughter for Christmas, and she loves it. Seems to keep good time (always important in a watch!). I can't believe anyone paid the original price listed.

TAG Heuer CJF2111.BA0576 wrist watches news:
After a struggle where I tried to size the bracelet and failed, the jeweler tried and failed, and finally a watchmaker succeeded (had a pin that would not come out), the Nomos is on a bracelet. The bracelet is quite comfortable even with the 3.5 mm thick mesh (or maybe because of it). I wanted to get this on a bracelet because 1) now it can go in a pool so I can take it traveling and 2) I thought that Stowa had the right idea of putting the Antea on mesh. It now has a more "blingy" look, but I think that is O.K. for what is ostensibly my dress watch. It will probably go back to the watchmaker soon because he put in a friction pin instead of a spring bar to hold the bracelet. (these mesh bracelets for some reason require very thin spring bars which the vendor did not supply ) But, for now, I am going to enjoy it for just a while longer. An expensive and arduous process so far, but I think the results are worth the headache. Enjoy the pics!
WellI've never purchased a watch for more than $300 (I have some really nice pieces but I've never spent much). I think I want to start saving for a new watch but I want it to be one that I can wear every day of my life. I don't know if I want a big diver or a dress watch or something in between. I always talk about how much I love Maurice Lacroix watches but sadly I don't see many of them purchased.I have a growing vintage collection but I think modern sizes fit my abnormally large arms. I think I would like to spend less than $2000 (used is an option). What I've been looking at is a brand that has good recognition and is renowned for high quality, and accuracy. I think in this price range I should have a chronometer certified watch. I HATE chronographs but I love fancy complications and after owning a Boschett Reef Ranger I am pretty interested in simple designs toopanies I've been looking at tonight: Maurice Lacroix, Ball Watch Co. (Why doesn't their stupid website work?), Omega, and
In honor of the first snowfall/flurry () here in Chicago I thought it would be interesting to see which watches with white dials members favored.I am also leaning towards a white dialed watch for my next purchase so I was also hoping to get some ideas from all you guys (and of course all you ladies are also invited to chime in).I'm reeaaallly liking the Omega "Great White" 2538.20 But I would love to see (pics pleease ) some other white dialed watches
I posted on the rolexforum about a vintage submariner I have. Now I know much more about Rolex and started to like my watch, and don't want to sell it anymore. Luckily I also have a Omega ladies which I can sell. Anybody know the +/- value of below watch? I'm looking for weeks on the internet for similar Omega watch, but cannot find.
As some of you already know, I have been torn over finding my one and only Rolex that I hope to purchase in the next few months. I am looking for versatility in whatever watch I buy. I'm in a suit at least once a week and in jeans/button up shirt the rest of the week. I like the DJII, but I'm not sure if it will dress down too well with shorts and a t shirt. But, I like the silver dial, as opposed to the black. I also like the date function. On the other hand, I'm digging the chromalight lume, brushed bracelet, oysterlock clasp, and WG Arabic numerals on the Exp I. One thing I think I will miss is the date complication if I choose the Explorer. For those of you who may own both, what are your thoughts? Too many good choices out there!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
