One of the most exciting new launches at Basel World 2013 was Girard-Perregaux's manually wound integrated chronograph.? I am an avid shooter. I have my eyes on a Sea Master Chrono. Will the sudden shock of a rifle or pistols recoil damage the movements of an auto winding watch like the SMP? Also I am an electrician I deal with electric motors, transformers, and some of my tools have earth magnets to let them stick to pipe. Will the magnetism of motors and such also affect these watches? Thanks for your help...

Just curious. What does everyone think of this brand? (Not looking to buy one just asking). I don't really see them discussed at all that much around the watch forums. I see ads for them in magazines quite a bit so was just wondering. The watches look decent (although pricey) so I thought I would ask. They seem to be family owned and have been around over 90 years. I have attached some photos of their watches for those unfamilar with the brand. Thanks.

SMPO 42mm or 45.5
Okay so I am buying a smpo tommorow and wondering If I should go 42mil or 45.5. I used to be leaning towards the 42 until the AD talked me out of it completely by saying that most girls wear a 42mm watch now and on you the 45.5 looks alot better not to mention your getting more watch for the same price. What do you gentlemen think.
