Hi, I'm new to this forum and I love to collect antique/ vintage watches, especially the Longines ones. Recently, I purchased a Longines Flagship Automatic dial, it's a solid 18 Kt gold (I'm not favor in gold!!), I attach with this message two pictures shown front and back and hopefully someone will tell me the history of it as well as which movement was originally made for it, I believe it is dated back before 1970 and I'm not sure. Need helps, someone......

Stainless steel (SS) is an alloy made primarily of iron, nickel, and a minimum of 10% chromium. There are 15 commonly used grades of SS out of 150+ varieties. Watch cases use less than a handful of these with the necessary combination of tensile strength, hardness, formability, corrosion resistance, and cosmetic appearance. 300 series alloys have the best mix of these traits. Other series alloys may excel in one area but are deficient in others. For instance, 400 series alloys are more corrosion resistant but sacrifice durability and finish. Here's a polished SS Breitling on the left and a brushed SS Daniel JeanRichard on the right:316L is non-magnetic and the most widely used SS grade in the watchmaking industry. It can be hardened by annealing, meaning the product is heated to 1010 - 1120˚C and then cooled rapidly in a liquid solution. 316L differs from most other SS because molybdenum is added to improve resistance to pitting and corrosion. Long post short:Should I buy one wonder PM to compliment my SS Daytona, or should I create my choice SS trio? I have been a one watch man for 3 wonderful years. I have been ravenously into TRF since I bought my watch in 2014. Since that day, I have built a healthy obsession with mine and all mechanical watches. The silver lining to my 2017 cloud is shining brightly, and I will be in a position to buy a new watch!I have already gotten some great feedback on potential choices across the entire range. Thanks to Chadri and many others for your insights(and previous similar posts)! Now I am considering a slightly different strategy...so here's my Poll.Firstly, I will not be selling my 116520. Initially I considered going for a second watch in the PM range that way I've got polar opposites that can go super comfy and super classic. THEN I thought about all of the SS models I've enjoyed lusting over the last three years(when I didn't think I could afford PM), and I thought about going for a d
