Displayback for my Yacht-Master
Greetings all!As some may recall, I modified my Yacht-Master last year by replacing the stock clasp with a Daytona clasp:You may also recall that I modified my Daytona by putting a sapphire crystal display back on it:Well, I contacted Thomas Preik and secured another sapphire display back for my Yacht-Master. Here it is before:And here it is with the new display back:I think it looks fantastic! And in case anyone was wondering about the water resistance of the watch after the caseback is installed, I had my watchmaker run a standard pressure test - the YM passed with flying colors with the new sapphire caseback on:So now I have two watches with display backs:
