Speedmaster 105.012 vs 145.012 dialsa subtle difference.
Maybe this is common knowledge among Speedmaster guys, but I can't find any mention of this subtle change in script in any threads, including Chuck Maddox's detailed pages regarding differences in cases and dials. I was looking at a very worn 105.012 yesterday and noticed the word "PROFESSIONAL" appeared to be a little askew. Then I noticed the script/font wasn't like the 145.012 or any other Pro model I had seen. The word is that the 105.012 was the first model to have the addition of "professional" and that it was not added until 1966; however, the lack of this ref. without "pro" has led to questions as to how many were actually produced without "pro" dials. That's actually a different topic. My focus here is on the script. My reading states that the only difference between the 105.012 and 145.012 dials is the style and spacing of the "T swiss made T" at the bottom of the dial, and there is clearly a difference, but the photos I am posting here seem to suggest the actual font

Watch problem. Help!
Hello! I've been using this Dogma watch for a month now and I spotted a little problem it has, so I would like to ask you for advice, guys. Yes, this is a cheap watch, but the problem is that the hour hand and the minute hand doesn't allign. For example: when the hour hand shows exactly 12, the minute hand shows that theres 5 minutes to 12. Is that a big deal and is it worth sending it back to the seller (it will take at least 2 months to receive fixed) or is there a way i could fix that problem myself or with a local watch proffesional. Arnold wears an Invicta on this months Esquire cover!!
I just left the book store, and while browsing the magazines, I saw Arnold Schwarzeneger (sp?) On the cover of Esquire, and took a peek at what he was wearing, as he is known for wearing the hottest BIG watches, and lo and behold he was wearing an Invicta Russian Diver Qinotar on the orange strap. Invicta always claims to have Hollywood on lock, so I suppose they're doing something right (and plenty wrong). Especially since I know Arnold is IN to watches.Just thought it was coolments?

I have this watch about a year now and as you can see from the photo's it looks like someone took a chisel to the case to open it. The plating is chipped badly on the back but the front of the case is ok, bar chisel marks from opening. RW's do not have a big following here but I am wondering if it is worth getting sorted. It has an ETA 2892-2 which is understand is fairly popular and I have read on the web of other guys just putting them in different cases. Any ideas, recase or get plating sorted ?
