- Overall the Watch is just another watch. Good looking with the basic functions, apart from the compass every other function is either the same old thing or just do not work the way I thought it was going to.

Invicta 17055 wrist watches news:
Gonna run it through the spa but it is running well. Serial 5479XXX, model 5500. The end links are stamped 60...anyone know what year that makes the bracelet date to? I don't think it is original to this watch. It has rivets...Crystal looks good and case just needs a polish. Figured with the Explorer gone I needed to fill a void quickly..lol
Hi all, i am a newbie in this amazing watch world and just found this amazing forum full of great watch lovers from all around the world.I have decided to begin my watch collecting hobby, and SEIKO apparently caught my attention due to its history and economic price (except Grand Seiko which make me drool).I browsed to look for good watch and i found this watch :SNKF63K1 (pic attached)I know that this is another collection from Seiko 5 series.I love the day-date indicator which is located separately.Any info regarding this type? i would appreciate it so much.Thank You. :D
Was doing some shopping at Amazon and at the bottom was "you might be interested in these". One of "these" was this used Lord Elgin on Amazon's Marketplace.WHAT. A. DEAL. It isn't even 14k. Just rolled gold. Dirty hands, stained dial, the plating is worn through, it is engraved on the back, and it comes with a well past its prime Spiedel band. $575 plus $4.50 shipping? The shipping charge truly hurtsNow that is something I might pick up for $40 and take a chance it might be restoration worthy, but abt accessories is a bit delusional with its Invicta retail of $1200 bundled with you save $625. Really, original retail $1200?????? Why not $10,000?
Being a vintage guy, modern styles don't often catch my eye. But, I saw an ad for this in the WSJ today and it got my attention. It's retro enough that I could see myself wearing one.
My wife has a 36mm Datejust for which she now would like a diamond bezel. I'd be interested in past experiences in making this swap out - including any experiences with Alan Furman - they are quoting $3k, which is fine as long as the bezel is essentially indistinguishable with the Rolex OEM one.
