For a while I was talking to Giles Ellis as he was in the midst of starting a watch brand. It was interesting to see yet another independent watch brand thrust themselves along supported by one enthusiastic founder faced with a number of challenges. Ellis, and Englishman, wanted a watch that reflected his tastes and ideals. For him Schofield is a true Gentleman's brand and offers the types of watches he wants to hear. He has great admiration for both the historic and contemporary English watch makers that are helping to bring horological street cred back to the UK.Schofield's first pieces are called the Signalman. Two watches, both limited editions, that are offered in a polished steel or matte DLC coated black steel case. The case is pretty interesting and unfortunately doesn't come across super well in these images. I will try to do some hands-on stuff in the future. It is 44mm wide and produced locally in Britain.? I got it from a Danish guy who has an excellent relationship to an AD in Sweden. The Milgauss is BNIB, has all the plastic on, and comes with the certificate without my name on it plus a receipt. I paid MSRP, btw. The nearest thing to watch perfection I have ever owned, I purchased this model at Zurich airport about 25 years ago. It is always within 3 seconds of atomic time and I never have to adjust it apart from once every four years at battery change.My concern now is that the high-class jeweller (Longines agent) that I use, never seems to make a good job of cleaning the bracelet and, in hot weather, it always leaves black marks on my wrist.I have an ultrasonic cleaner and would like to remove the bracelet in order to give it a good soak. However, the bracelet retaining pins are not the spring-loaded type; they are solid and pass through the watch case. I presume I need some sort of tool to remove them but the kits I see on line don't look particulary suitable. There is a device that looks like a hand-held vice, which I think is intended for removing link pins from watch bracelets but, because of the shape of the watch body, I don't think this would work.Could anyone give me some tips for how

I bought my Sub 2 years and 8 months ago. Recently, I realised the power reserve of my Sub seems to drop after putting it on a winder (I wear it only once a week). Yesterday, after winding for about 40 rounds and wearing it in the morning, it stops ticking at about 3 pm. I wind it again after this happened but the ticking continues to stop at short intervals after which I finally gave up and concluded that it needs to be sent to a service centre for check and repair.I did not expect my Sub to fail me as I have an Omega Speedmaster which I purchased 5 years ago which has never failed me for a single day as long as I am wearing it (I wear it 3 to 4 days a week).1. Is the problem due to the reason I did not service my Sub after the 2 years warranty period?
