So I joined the forum a few months ago to educate myself on Rolex¡¯s. I have always wanted a submariner and had my heart set on a no date 14060M. I prefer the vintage style and size of earlier watches and didn¡¯t want anything flashy. Eventually after looking around I just didn¡¯t feel confident enough to buy a used Rolex either online or private party. I had a local dealer quote me a price on a used one which was basically new msrp.Dismayed I began looking for alternatives. That¡¯s when I found the Omega 60th anniversary collection and specifically the Seamaster. I know some find this to be ¡°fake¡± vintage, but this watch had everything I was looking for. It¡¯s the right size, clean lines and dial and will be a perfect one watch for daily wear.The watch arrived today and am extremely excited.
