Tissot T0554171101701 wrist watches news:
About two years ago after the release of the first Iron Man movie (not animated that is) I wrote a little article about the various watches that Robert Downey Jr. wore as character Tony Stark in the movie. I was actually pretty surprised that the article was so popular, but it was my most viewed article for over 6 months - you can check out that article on watches in the original Iron Man here. Iron Man 1 was all about Bulgari as the brand was heavily featured in the film. Tony Stark wore a few of their new watches for 2008. Now, two years later? Bulgari (Bvlgari) is out, and Jaeger-LeCoultre is in. Clearly the Richemont Group brand has more money that the troubled Bulgari group, and realized that popularity of the placement. To my knowledge, back in 2008 Bulgari never issued a press release on its watches in Iron Man. How funny it is that even before Iron Man 2 has been released, Jaeger-LeCoultre is plugging the placement like they won a prize. I actually think it was clever of them to
Just uploaded a few pics from the NY GTG, I'm slow I know.Weak group shot. What happened to the White Russians Leo??The after party, nice shellfish combo!Cheers!
High, looking at buying a second hand Schumaker in great condition. I own a nice seamaster and have wanted a Speedy for a while. I've decided I can't afford the Professional so I've decided this one could be the one for me, and probably contrary to most people I like the yellow dial. What I'm not sure about is the size of the watch. I see it quoted as 39mm body and I saw a reference somewhere as the same as the reduced model. I guess what I'm asking is what is the difference in size between a proffessional, an automatic and a reduced? Are they three different sizes and where does the Schumaker fit in? Is it considered a collectable or sought after model or a lesser oddity. I have no qualms at the price at $1200US as long as I would be likely to get most of my money back if I sell it down the track. Even though it doesn't come with box or papers it is in mint condition and from a reputable watch maker.Opinions appreciated.
I only recently (4 days ago) got a grey dial RO 15400ST, as part of my planned 4 piece collection (blue dial sports watch, grey/black/brown dial sports watch, gold dressier watch, cheap beater or Gshock). The original plan was to get a 15300ST blue, PP Aquanaut 5968A Chronograph, and a PP Nautilus 5712R within the next 3 years. However after seeing and touching the 5968A Chronograph and other PP chrono's they didn't really feel that great to me personally. I just felt like chrono is a bit of a meh complication on a high end watch since I would never take the PP on a spartan race (Gshock).Spent ages looking for the 15300ST blue dial, found nothing. No dealer or reseller on my continent had it, went on chrono24 only 2-3 ever listed at meh prices or already polished.Walked into the AP boutique to see if they had a 15202ST blue dial 3 year waitlist but loved the 15400 grey dial. Got it for my dark dial sports watch slot.Today just as I was leaving work, I saw in the window of a reputable 2n
I always thinking to sell my 5980/1A because its always stay in the safe. But today I change my mind after I'm wearing it again. My watch is so cool :))ImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898171.231432.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1360898201.347405.jpg
