- The watch was much ger that anticipated. It is ger than it looks. ger than the average watch. It grew on me however. Those who like ger watches may like it.

Tissot T0484172704700 wrist watches news:
Very beautiful watch, in fact, the most awesome feeling and looking watch I have ever worn. Then as I was taking pictures, I saw it. Gouging left of the crown.Luckily, free returns and the UPS guy will be here Wednesday. Unfortunately, this was their last one. While it is hard to see, left of the crown, there are about 8 deep scratches or gouges. So, I guess I'll keep looking.
Just got my first AP today, a silver dial 15400. I considered the 15400, 15300, and new 15202, and ultimately decided on the 15400 as a daily wear kind of watch. I have tried on the new 15202 and absolutely love it, so that may be my next target. I was conflicted on dial color. I usually like blue dials the best and on the 15202, it looked perfect. When I tried on different 15400s, I wasn't as sure. Ultimately Kilyung's great photos of his 15300 convinced me to go for the silver dial. So thanks Mike!I also have to give a shout out to Mosco. This was my first online transaction, and I was somewhat unsure of what to expect especially since I promised my wife I would trade two of my watches if I wanted to buy a new one. I sent inquiries initially to Greg and one other seller on this site. The other seller responded with one line messages every two or three days. It didn't feel like we were getting anywhere. Greg responded with kind, thoughtful messages and really put me at eas
New to Omega! Just got a a vintage USS omega seamaster(78) bought it for 150$ (Hopefully a good deal) it has the cal. 1010 movement which my watchmaker guy told me. I really don't care for the Uss logo since I didn't work there, do you guys think I should leave the dial be or swap it for another repainted eBay dial? Will that hurt the value?
New to mechanical watches and I really appreciate the information on this forum. I've been lurking and browsing for about 2 months and I am just amazed at what is available. I honestly was headed toward the next 42mm Explorer II, but am not sure if I'm ready to spend that much on my first real watch. I quickly looked through the Omegas and thought, Speedmaster, interesting. Then I was completely surprised to find no two watches I had pulled from the display case were the same. 42mm, broad arrow, 44mm, manual wind, leather strap, saphire, steel case back..seriously, they had this many choices on the moon?Mind you some sales people don't really mention the reference number so that wasn't helping me. I thought it best to head home and do some research and I am glad you folks are here. I have some easy questions that I could probably find the answers to if I plowed through more posts. Everyone seems friendly enough for a few newbie questions. 3570.50.00 Hesalite, steel caseback
Simple question: does the current market value of your watch impact how you wear it?I¡¯m no stranger to expensive watches and generally don¡¯t fret about how I wear my watches relative their cost. Most would cringe to see what I wear when fishing, boating, motorcycling, hunting, golfing, etc. However the recent (insane) valuation of steel Pateks has begun to influence how I wear them. I¡¯ve found myself worrying about scratches and dings on my steel Pateks whereas it was never a consideration before. I have no such hangups with my PM watches - only steel. Brand has little bearing on it. Maybe I¡¯m just not meant to own steel? Thoughts?
