Breitling A25362 wrist watches news:
Recently there has been a resurgence of new American watch brands, selling "handmade watches,” “manufactured” and “built” in America. Bringing watch manufacturing back to the USA is a huge and exciting undertaking that a wide audience of watch customers are eagerly waiting for. The problem is, a lot of the watch brands advertising using those slogans are not telling the truth. If your watch is Made in USA, the movement inside it also needs to be made in the USA. Some background helps for clarity. A mechanical watch consists of a case, strap or bracelet, dial, hands and movement. The movement is the engine of a watch, containing all of the parts that make a watch tick. A very simple mechanical watch movement will contain around 50 individual parts. The movement is not one part, like the case is. The movement consists of the majority of parts in a mechanical watch, and is very expensive and time consuming to manufacture.
I have a ladies CYMA quartz watch with a stainless steel/gold bracelet. It has a blue/black face with roman numerals and gold tone hands. It works. I took it to a reputable jeweler (a horologist) in my area and he informed me that it would be worth servicing for a cleaning but my goal is not to spend money but make it. As much as I would like to keep the watch I must sell it because I am trying to raise funds to get my handicap son a chair lift. He suggested that I join a watch forum where other experts such as yourself may have an interest in it...so here I am.

While my 5402 is at the service in Le Brassus I've been offered to get a Certificate of Authenticity from the manufacture. The cost of this certificate is $450 as the watch is 34 years old and I am already paying $2800 for the service so it's already a big out of pocket.Should I get it or not? So, today I took my watch out of its comfort zone and it really earned its tool name. I was working out in a shady area out of convenience, not doing that again, and I just didn't want to leave the watch in my car or locker. I've seen other people workout in their Rolex and I wanted to try it out myself. What held me back wasn't really damaging it but being showy and coming off as obnoxious. Ended up getting a flat after the workout and had to replace the tire. Watch never came off. As nerdy as it sounds, I felt I made an extra connection with the watch today. On a side note, I hope the pic I'm posting debunks the idea that wrist size is everything. Apparently, my watch would just be too big for my wrist and I would come off as a clown by wearing one. I have a 6.5 inch wrist (albeit very flat). I'll let you decide if it's too big. I'm about 6 feet tall and fairly muscular. It's all perspective. Posting macro zoomed wrist shots of a watch on you really doesn't do anyone justice. Got to
