Tissot T048.417.27.057.01 wrist watches news:
Hublot grabs attention at every Baselworld and Baselworld 2015 is no exception. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of its Big Bang – the loudest and most recognizable model in its lineup – Hublot combined complications to create a grande complication of sorts. Designed and decorated in the standard Hublot flair that we're used to seeing, the Hublot Big Bang Chrono Perpetual Calendar is sure to reverberate loudly with fans.Like its predecessors and, actually, every other member of its family, the Big Bang sports the brand’s version of the porthole design (a round bezel with handlebar sides and six hexagonally-positioned screws.) The entire piece is satin-finished in a vertical orientation. This uniform texture is something we’ve seen in recent complicated releases from Hublot, such as its first moophase, released last month. Uniformity in finish adds visual continuity to a piece, and the satin finish here runs from the metal case and lugs through to the ceram
I bought my first new Omega, a Deville co-axial chronometer (caliber Omega 2500) between 2002 and 2004. I immediately knocked it off the night table and sent to the Omega repair (NJ) for a new crystal. Three months later they decided to return it, and it has been keeping excellent time ever since.Last month I bought a new Seamaster 300M co-axial chronometer, again with a caliber Omega 2500. Since the movement has been out for many years, I assume the Seamaster is the 2500c iteration. My question is what version would the Deville have inside?
I stumbled across this company's site. An Iceland-based watchmaker. Uses Swiss movements and German cases. Interesting:jswatch/enska/aboutus.html
I did a quick search and didn't seem to find any info, but is there only on AP SC in the USA? The one in Clearwater, FL?
After letting the watch sit for a few days, while turning the crown to get it started, it begins to feel 'grainy' after 2-3 turns. I tried to put it on a winder for 600 bidirectional rotations per day but the watch actually stops working for a while. Not sure if it becomes over wound because by the Orbita website, that is the recommended setting for the 3126 movement. Let me know if any of you guys think there is something wrong with the movement (re grainy feeling) or any best practice for not wearing the watch for a few days. After setting the time, it works perfectly. (Prob not a movement problem and rather a storage issue ??)
