- My Timex ladies watch w/round two-tone case looks expensive; however, it was very affordable. It is a piece I were only on special occasions because it was a gift from my late Grandmother.

Tissot T0674172105100 wrist watches news:
You may know Avakian as a high-end jewelry and watch store. Avakian has a watch line as well. They have had watches for some time, but this is a very high-end and complex model for them. It is called (I believe) the Concept 1. Yes, there are many design cues taken from other watch makers. Richard Mille and Cvstos have a lot in common with this watch, as well as from other luxury models. It doesn't matter that as a whole it is not ultra unique, but rather than in all, it is an interesting and fun design. The watch was released officially almost a year ago, but that is pittance in "watch time," where models can take a while to reach market, at least in any numbers. The watches will be sold exclusively through Avakian boutiques around the world. Avakian founder Edmond Avakian seems to suggest that the watch will be mostly available in their Beverly Hills, Geneva, London, and of course Moscow locations. Successful high-end luxury watch and jewelry stores have a very powerful things, their c
Let's say you were in the market for a new (or vintage) Hamilton. Let's also say you had a maximum budget of $500. This rules out a new Jazzmaster Maestro or a vintage Piping Rock. So, what would you buy?
The latest model presented and produced at the Citizen factory in Hamburg, Germany. It cost 795 Euro in EU, or aroun 1100$ US. Radio controled - Eco Drive
Hey I wonder where the Oris crowd goes to get their watches clean and oiled. I reached out to Oris and their authorized rep and was told about $100 but usually more like $400. I know my coworkers has sent his Oris' in form time to time, he said its been always more then he'd thought and the turn around time he felt was very slow. So rather then going back to Oris are there any other recommendations? The watch runs fine I just think that it could use some maintenance to keep it that way. The fact it cost $1200 new in '95 $400 seems a bit high. I'd heard to figure about 10% of the retail for a service. The more it cost the more you should expect to pay. Thanks in advance for your responses
I want to switch straps on my 164. I tried to this morning but I couldn't dislodge the pins (using the Panerai "tool"). I thought it would be easy, but the pins wouldn't budge. What am I doing wrong? I know it's supposed to be a simple job, but I'm all thumbs so far.TIA:rolleyes:
