Tissot T013.420.44.201.00 wrist watches news:
i havent posted much on here for the last couple of months to avoid temptation.I am however have been thinking of what holiday present I want to get myself and hence plotting my next purchase. I currently have a constellation with white MOP. I really love this watch and I am thinking that I want a similar one (automatic) with colored (pink or black maybe? if it exists) and diamond marker I went to omega's website and did online researched. The only thing I could find is quartz mini pink MOP with diamond marker or automatic pink MOP with diamond bezel. Does my dream watch exist? Has anyone ever seen one and know the model number?thanks
I've been wanting to add a Breitling chrono to my collection for a while now but decided I didn't want another automatic. After researching the line I decided on the Colt II Chrono. It looked great in the catalog, good size, and I liked the 2nd second hand which is a minute counter when you run the chrono. So yesterday I went to the AD to try one on. I was shockedWhen I started the chrono the second hand started ticking away MISSING each marker as it went along. I let it run for a minute to see what the 2nd second hand did and it advanced to 1 minute also MISSING the marker. Both hands were exactly at 12 o'clock before I started it.I am shocked that a watch of this caliber doesn't have the indices printed correctly. Needless to say I'm not buying a Colt II.This is the second shock I've had with Breitling. The first one was when I looked at a preowned 2 tone Chronomat and the pushers looked like the plating had worn through. I later found out that they're not solid gold but "capped".OK,
Short preface: I don't really belong on this forum as I'm not a serious watch collector and I care more about looks than craftsmanship (compared to you guys at least). That said, I respect how much you all know about watches and you seem like a friendly and helpful bunch, so on to my question...Could you suggest a reasonably priced (definitely Thanks in advance to whomever is willing to help. Oh yeah, links/pics would be a great help as well, but I can always google the name too.
Hey all, my name is Ben, and I have just started at the forum with the suggestion of my friend Kevin(isGQ). I'm new to the watch world (I just started with a Rolex Submariner as a gift in June) and trying to learn as much as I can, so I'll be asking lots of questions.I wanted something with a black dial that also had a good amount of gold to it, and I also liked the design of the classic Navitimer, so I'm thinking the yellow gold dial version with both a two-tone and black leather bracelet to switch up once in a while. I tried to get a sense of what it looks like, but couldn't find pictures of what I wanted, and a trip to the closest Breitling shop for me will be at least 2 hours, so I need a good feeling about what I want to buy before I go out there.Would the two-tone bracelet go well with the yellow gold Navitimer, or is my sense of fasion for watches not so hot, any thoughts? Also, what would be a good price for this watch? I did a search on amazon, looks like it'll go for about 7
an omega AD offered me an alaska project speedmaster for $4,700 didn't have it at the store, but said they could have it there ASAP if I put down a deposit. since I am always hunting for limited editions watches, and have been considering a speedmaster, I am considering this offer. if anyone out there has priced the alaska speedmaster, please let me know if this is just an average deal, or a real steal? thanks
