- AS always Hiedi Daus puts out museum quality pieces and this is no exception. You will not be disappointed to add this to your collection. If you haven't tried Heidi Daus this is a great first piece.

Tudor 20500N-SVSBKMCPL wrist watches news:
Ok Boys(and Salleh!)I have been waiting YEARS to do this one!(and yes, it has a little "Hamilton" in it for you fans too!)I will start off this Rarity with some excerpts from Fred's wonderful book:(The Illinois Watch: The Life and Times of a Great American Watch Company)"For years Illinois collectors were not certain what a Standish was or if it existed at all. But now some have been sighted and identified. We know of only one white gold-filled one. There are at least four yellow gold filled ones. So this is a rare watch. The Standish came with a dial with a subsidiary seconds at 6 or 9. There is alsoa squashed exploding dial for the Standish that has a subsidiary seconds at 6 or 9as well. All the Standish pieces we have seen were in Keystone No. 651 cases. Other watch manufacturerscased their movements in cases similar to if not identical to the Standish. There is a solid white gold Standish case made for Elgin inside it's case back. The Standish is not listed as Factory-cased by Illino
I've noticed over the past year or so that many retailers are dropping Seiko from their inventory. Findlay(who used to run Macy's and Dillards fine jewelery),Leroys,Helsbergs,Zales, and finally Kay jewelers just reduced their Seiko to 50% closeout recently. Sears and Penneys still have a small selection of lower end Seikos, but for how long? Let me qualify this; I can only speak about malls and stores in and near Lexington and Louisville Ky. Does anyone know whats going on with Seiko and retailers?

I have this Ana-Digi watch, I always liked it. Inexpensive little bugger.I'm taking a trip out of the USA and thought it would be nice to take alongso I could do 2 timezones. I don't wear it much, so I fished it out of the drawer and yup, Dead Battery. So I get the battery out, get a new one ($4.25) in and only the Digi is working, Huh? So I'm thinkin "Is there another buried inside? yes there was, hidden deep inside. Back to Walgreens and get another ($4.25) now it's working properly. So what's the problem or Irony in all this? Well the watch cost me $8.97 originally at Walmart.I spent $8.50 on the batteries and another hour messing around and back and forth to Walgreens 2 times. It would have been easier to go look for another cheapo new one at Walmart. This is the watch,
