20 years ago, I doubt anyone got together to celebrate their love of Rolex watches. I bet it was unheard of then, yet today and because of the internet, we have GTG's many times a year.I wish there were more WIS's in the Washington DC area. It would be great to have one in my home town. Going out of town to one is not easy for me anymore but I'm glad I at least got to the one GTG in NYC last year to get a taste of the fun.That a Rolex watch passion could bring people physically together to a GTG, spend a weekend doing watch related stuff in a group, and go out to eat and party together, it's truly amazing. If I told my non-watch loving friends (which is pretty much all of my local friends) that we do this, they would think it's plain weird.It's cool, to me.
