- Very nice watch - exactly as described. I wanted a bangle style for easy on and off when travelling and this fits the bill. Watch face is large, but easy to read and suits my needs well. Thanks.

U-Boat 2268 wrist watches news:
Two days ago I went to a high end jewelery store that sells Rolex, Breitling, Tag and I believe Raymond Weil. Any way I worked in there wearing my Citizen world timer on the original strap but was looking for a Genuine Alligator or Crocodile but when one of the sales peolpe asked to see my watch I kindly handed it over to them because they did'nt believe me when I had said it was a 21mm which I admit is kind of odd, But what got me mad was the way the sales person slammed my watch onto the display case, I did'nt do anything because I'm not from where they were locate so I did not want to be kicked out as soon as I walk in there again LOL. I always feel intimated walking into highend stores especially when everyone looking at what your wearing.:mad::mad:
Ever since I tried on a Chronomat Airborne on the new military strap, I knew it would be a good match for my Chronomat LE. After some hunting, I was able to finally convince a very nice boutique associate to take one off an existing watch. This strap is really nice - extremely durable and comfortable. The red leather lining looks and feels luxurious and sporty. Thanks for looking.
Well today is the big day, and I never received my SS Daytona from my AD. I went on their wait list back in 2016, when the new model debuted. I got a call last July from my AD, telling me that I was next up. I thought for sure by today, I would have it in my possession. Well, maybe it will come for my 40th year instead of the day. Keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe this is a blessing in the sky and something from Basel will come out this year and I will want that in stead. But it better be something COOL! As I was not that impressed with the models from the 2017 Basel world.........
Hey folks. Wanted to get some additional input before making a move in my collection. Thinking about selling my 114060 for a 14060. Has anyone made a similar move and regretted the shift? I think the 14060 May sit a bit better on the wrist for a suit at work, but would love to hear people*s experiences with the two. Also, are you giving anything up on the trade in terms of functionality or have people found the 14060 to be as durable?
This weekend we were at a mall in Broward County. The mall has several jewelers and most are non AD. We were browsing and one young salesman saw my brother in law and i were both wearing SS Rolexes. He says they have some preowned Rolex. Would we like to see them.? Of course we would! While looking at his small stock, he looks at my brother in laws kermit and says, that's the joker. i said are you talking about his watch? He says yes. Lol...i said um, no thats called a kermit. If you were thinking of the all green model, it is called the hulk. I then mentioned i was not opposed to purchasing a preowned watch as my first Rolex was a preowned serti sub with the diamonds and sapphires on the dial. While he was talking about looking to find a sub for $2500 to $3000 for himself, i found a picture of my serti sub. I show it to him and he says, that's a yachtmaster right? I was like, um no. ...the yachtmaster has either a gold or platinum bezel depending on the model such as stainless
