Hublot 342.ST.5010.ST wrist watches news:
I am considering the sale of my beloved X-Wind. I have the black faced one on bracelet.I like the watch a lot, but more sitting on my desk than on my wrist. I am not a big guy, having a 6 1/2 inch wrist (some friends think I a trying to compensate for something when they see me wear it but (ahem) we know that they are just jealous...It just tends to sit on top of my wrist and does not feel part of me, like other watches. I have a 43 mm JeanRichard Bressel, which is a large dial but it isn't as thick and sits lower. Same for my Glycine Airman D24, which is a large-wearing 44 mm. These work well, X-Wind doesn't.Oh well, gonna miss you guys! I guess I could still visit....
Okay, talking about price is something very personal & unique for every individual , a friend of mine who is driving his S350 Mercedez would think that my dream watch ( the JLC reverso duo ) is somewhat easily affordable but another friend of mine would think twice for a seiko black monster etc etc.. But please feel free ( i hope the watches manufacturer can use this for their price judgment ,, hopefully ) to express your feeling about the pricing of your dream watches or any watches in your radar starting this mid 2011 price list I will start first with these ( once again its just my personal opinion ) which i considered wayyyy overprice :1. Tag Heuer 1887 Carerra and Grand Carrera 36 2. any of The Louis Vuitton watches do you think ?
Ok guys trying to get some opinions to help a good friend decide. Choices are the new 41 ROC in Rose Gold. Hung up on dial color. What do you guys think. I personally love the Black on Rose Gold.
OK guys, I'm totally depressed with the issue my 5130 world time is having.First, I only wear this piece about 3-4weeks total out of the year and I have had it for about 4 years now. When I first got the piece I had an issue right away where the push button for rotating the timezones on the dial got stuck where the dial and hour hands would not rotate with zero resistance when pushing the button on the case. The piece had to be sent back to Geneva for servicing, and I got it back 8 weeks later with no direct explanation to me since it was sent through the AD.Fast forward 4 years, I was wearing the piece over the weekend, and decided to shift the dial to different timezones. I got through about 5-6 cities, and then all of a sudden I lost some resistance in the pushbutton. The outer dials with the city prints stopped shifting, but the hour hand would still shift by 1 hour with each push. Whne I push the button now there is much less resistance with the hour hands still shifting, but t
Picked up a BLNR from my AD on friday. I also have a SS Sub-C. When i got the Sub-C last year i was also looking at GMTs but really didnt like the polished center links on the bracelet. Well i got the sub and since then the polished center links kinda grew on me so i grabbed a BLNR. Now that i have both im debating on selling the sub-c but looking at them side by side i just love the sub-c brushed links and glidelock clasp. I believe i can simply swap the bracelets and they will fit, correct? Someone mentioned u can swamp the bracelets but not the pins..make sure u swap the pins so the orginal ones stay with the watch to insure they snap in correctly??? So if i can do that i just might. But my main concern is resale value. What do you guys think?
