- Feels and looks like plastic! Not like usual Victoria Wieck ducts. Sent it back.

- This watch is absolutely beautiful. The stones are very colorful and the watch is high quality. It is a fun piece to layer other silver jewelry with because it looks like a bracelet.

U-Boat 5565 wrist watches news:
I recently ran across what I believe is the SMP Pro models 2455.50 and 2455.80 but can't find much info about them. I did a search through threads and didn't come up with anything. Can someone fill me in on these 2? I also looked on the Omega website and no luck searching for either model. I'd like to know some info on dates they were made, MSRP when they were still current, and whether they are rare or not.
While watching a non-watch auction of my own, I was searching and came across this seller. Has anyone had any experience w/ them? They seem to have a virtual smorgasbord of vintage Japanese watches.eBay My World - sophon_l
Raymond Weil Maestro, Open Balance WheelI've had my eye on this one for awhile now and finally decided to pull the trigger. I ordered it from my AD a couple weeks ago and UPS dropped it off just when I was getting home from work today. I was a bit torn between the open balance wheel and the small seconds versions, but this is the one that kept pulling me back. 39.5mm Diameter9.13mm ThickAs in many cases, the pics really don't do the watch justiceI think some outside daylight shots would be better so I'll have to do that sometime in the next few days.

I understand there's virtually no comparison between the two watches in both quality and heritage. But I wonder, Invicta watches I'd say on average would be around $100-$500 price range. Obviously Rolex watches are much more expensive, but I wonder who makes more money at the end of the year? Invicta has shops all over the world including a huge store in the heart of Times Square. Invicta has the license for Disney and Marvel comics, dominates the shop at home network and just about every jewelery store in the country carries them. So I wonder, at the end of the day.....financially speaking, who is more successful? (Please, I know there will be some forum members anoyed buy this topic, but it's just something light hearted to discuss)
