Here is a really bad picture of my Sig Sauer P226 and my Seiko Black Monster.I bought the BM 3 days after finding this site. I'm ashamed to admit that I used to be a replica guy for the last 5 years or so but that has changed now that I found this site.

What's for sale????
I like watch forums and enjoy seeing what is new, looking at recent arrivals and envying the persons that get those new pieces. However, I also like to see what is for sale....some guy wants to get rid of X watch because it was to thick on whis wrist, because it has a poor lume, because it is not so pretty anymore, etc.I have looked through this forum and do not or cannot find a trade or specific for-sale area. I like the for sale-areas because it keeps me abreast of the items that might be falling from favor, it lets me know what is getting interesting, it keeps me informed of what might be a good investment and it allows me once in a while to pick up an interesting piece at an extremely affordable price.Therefore, please indicate if I might just not be looking through the site sufficiently well.Thank you.Josejmarti

First Experience with Clearwater Service Center
So as some of you may know from my older post, i just got a used 15300 Royal Oak which arrived running several minutes fast per day. I sent it off the the AP service center in clearwater for diagnosis and repair. The watch is just over three years old but the previous owner never signed up for the third year warranty so the warranty period was expired. I was afraid I was going to get slammed with a 1k+ repair bill on a watch i had just purchased. Anyway, just hours after receiving my watch, I got a call from Betsy at AP customer service. She told me they were currently diagnosing my watch and that I would get a call the next morning with the diagnosis and repair estimate. This morning bright and early, I get another call from Betsy saying that the watch is apparently running fast due to displaced oils causing the hairspring to stick. She told me that even though the watch is out of warranty, they are going to do a complete service for free and give me a two year warranty on the watch.

Is Breitling a serious watch company?
Picked one up recently at the airport on a spur of the moment buy. Although they have their range from low to high, I wonder if they're really up there in terms of workmanship, legacy, etc. With that said, I'm a bit regretful about my purchase.
