Just a update the Bucherer seller fail to tell me the watch needed work (don't run) deal fell though. So I had replace that transaction with this Eterna Matic with a Cal. 1412UD. Don't want to look it up but is there a good book on vintage watches. Here's the seller pic's.

Oris Dial Question...
I posted this in the Oris Forum, but this area gets far more traffic, and I'm hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on something.This is a close-up of the dial of my Oris Williams F1:I visited my AD yesterday, and they had this very watch in their showcase, but there was one difference. The one in the showcase did not have the "Williams F1" above the day window, as shown here:(photo borrowed from Bing Image Search)Does anyone happen to know when this change was made, and why?The watch is still referred to as the Williams F1, that's just no longer included on the dial...

Problem Setting Seiko Perpetual Calendar (Model SNQ045, Caliber 6A32)
I bought this watch brand new and it has worked very well for over 4 years now.Other Watches - Perpetual Calendar - SNQ045| SEIKO CORPORATION OF AMERICAEarlier this year, the original battery died and I took it to a local, certified Rolex repairman with a good reputation for properly re-sealing the watertight casing after replacing the battery. When I got the watch back, the date was correct and it kept good time. However, I put it up for a few days around the end of April and when I took it back out to wear, I noticed that the date was a day late (i.e. the date was the 3rd when it should have been the 4th.)I can only assume that when the Rolex guy reset the date for me, he didn't know how the Seiko perpetual calendar worked and got it wrong. So, I took out my instruction book (See the link below) and attempted to set it myself.seikousa/support/ib/pdf/SEIKO_6A32_E.pdfAccording to page 8 of the document above, you're supposed to pull the crown out 1 click and then press the button fo

Found a PO Liquidmetal for sale, one issue is stopping me from pulling the trigger...
Had a opportunity to purchase a brand new PO Liquidmetal. I was ready to pull the trigger until something caught my eye..A lint or speck of dust caught my eye on on of the markers, on a closer examination with a help of loupe (Yes, I brought one along). It is a tiny dent on the edge of the 10'o clock marker. My heart just sank...I asked the sales person to inspect my findings, he agreed with me on the imperfection. At this point, he was trying to use the sale tactics on rarity of the PO LM and assured me it can be rectified with the service centre. NO DISCOUNT even with me pointing out the QC problem.He also mentioned that ceramic dial must need to be replaced or it could be just the marker. He cannot be 100% sure.Should I pull the trigger (purchase and get it fixed) or pass on this?
