Invicta 11198 wrist watches news:
Hello watch enthusiasts, just got my first mechanical watch as a wedding gift from my wife (that still sounds strange). It appears that she definitely listens to me since she got the exact one I've wanted for years now:IMG_20120511_083947.jpgOne stupid question about setting the time: is there a trick to get the minute hand to line up with a minute marker exactly when the second hand hits 60? I've been waiting for the second hand to hit 60, stopping the watch and adjusting the time but I find it difficult to get it exactly matched up. I realize this is probably a bit OCD but hey, why not. Thanks for any input.Martin
Hello,My first post here as I plan to by my first Pam. I originally set out on a Pam 212 Flyback, but scaled back to the Pam 250 Daylight for reasons of affordability, wear-ability and durability. I understand the 212 is more limited and ending production this year, but I don't see myself investing an extra $3000 and getting enough ROI to make it worth while. I also am not a fan of polished bezels as I am good at scratching them up, so I have decieded on the more rugged looking 250.I am a perfect score eBay seller and hope to find someone else with my standards to buy from at a good fair price. Is this realistic?Anyone have experience good or bad with eBay sellers I should know about? How about online retailers? I know they are not authorized, but should I be weary? Is there a guide for model series on what to look for in a genuine Panerai?Any help and or recommendations are greatly appreciated!Thank you,Robb
Hi, I have a Tag Heuer diving-type watch with a typical Uni-Directional Rotating bezel. Tag Heuer's design is similar to any of these watches. The rotating ring with the numbers, turns freely, a little too freely, and although it has the little detents at every number, it is without the spring that provides a little resistance to turning.Does anyone know how to fix this easily? It is not worth sending to Tag Heuer for repair.Thank you and Regards, Gkenny.
I have been following this site for some times; really do enjoy reading all the posts on this site. Anyhow, I just got this watch couple weeks back; but haven't gotten a chance to put it on. Since today is such a wonderful day, i decided to finally cut/open the sacred seal! Here we go.....my new favourite 5205RWhen I first saw the pics of both variation of 5205R, i set my mind straight for black dial. As time went by and i got the chance to look at both dials, my love for white dial started to grow and finally i could not resist the charm of this wonderful dial.I do hope you guys enjoy these amateurish pictures; and i will try my best to actively participate in this forum. Very nice to meet you all; and thanks again for viewing.
Looking at getting a gmt I have other watches so it will be worn in rotation but will have more wrist time. How beat up does the polished centre on the clasp get get after a year or 2 that's the only thing that stops me from getting one. Thanks in advance
