- Beautiful watch but the metal part of the band cuts into the wrist skin. I get a reddened, abraded area if I wear it for more than 10 hours.

Hi there guys!!!...I have a chance to pick up a 98% mint Portuguese Chrono, white face, blues hands, black croc. strap, with box but no papers for $3,400.00 from a very trusted seller....has only one small scratch on the case back from setting watch down on a dresser...it isn't my 1st grail watch, but is on my list....because of the price and source of the watch, I'm thinking of jumping on it, even though it isn't #1 on my dream list...what do you guys think???
Hi guys,I am so happy to share with you my first ever AP ROO Chronograph 'Black Theme'. It's a very beautiful yet elegant timepiece though not as eye catching as the Navy, Panda or Volcano version of the same model but a very humble one which will not catch too much attention at work. Here is some unboxing and wrist shots and I hope you will join me to share my happiness.I'm keeping the plastic on as I will wait to wear it on my birthday some months later.Cheers
Would love to get your thoughts. Here is a clip of the news story posted on Barron's website. On Thursday, a three-colored Rolex Daytona that the late Paul Newman owned for roughly 15 years was sold for $17.8 million, a record-breaking price for a wristwatch at auction. So what¡¯s the next watch owned by an icon that could fetch millions of dollars?Industry observers are casting an eye at Jack Nicklaus¡¯ gold Rolex Day-Date, a watch the retired golfer has worn since he received it in 1967.Nicklaus has stated that he plans to sell the watch at auction, with the proceeds going to his favorite charity, the Nicklaus Children¡¯s Health Care Foundation. The foundation, which Nicklaus started in 2004, provides families with access to world-class pediatric health care.
