- The shape of this watch is more feminine than the other Kors watches. I loved the way it fit on my tiny wrist since it didn't overpower me like the other large ones. It also lied nicely on my wrist.

U-Boat 1918 wrist watches news:
Post them all here!Pardon me while I get the ball rolling.....After ages of trying to understand which cushion was which I think I got it figured out and decided I wanted one as old as possible. Here's the result (and experts please let me know if I've got it wrong)....ebay image, my watchc1926 14K white gold filled Cushion Plain with 986A movement and luminous dial/hands. Although this model was first catalogued in 1926, the movement in this example dates to 1924. So I figure it was either an old stock movement in 1926 or a later replacement. I'd like to think that the lume on the numerals and hands is original - or at worst an excellent refinish. (I've not seen other old-time lume refinishes that match the numeral outlines so well; they always seem to look puffy and uneven). Whatever the case, I've been wanting an early Cushion for a long time and happy to provide a home for this one. I think I'll leave her just as she is.
His fiancee is looking to get him a gift for their wedding, so he e-mailed me with this:"I¡¯ve been toying with the idea of getting a watch in the $100-$500 range for a while, so the wedding gift thing sounds like a good opportunity. Since you¡¯re into watches, maybe you can help me find some good options to think about. I¡¯m looking for something that¡¯s not modern/sporty like my current watch. I kind of want something that could have been inspired by a 15th or 16th century boat/ship/yacht/tallship. Does that make any sense? Something more Breitling-eque than Tag Hauer. Let me know if you have any ideas."Given the price range my first thoughts were with Tissot, Christopher Ward or mayyybe Hamilton, but the "inspired by a 15th or 16th century boat/ship/yacht/tallship" thing is really throwing me off. I have no idea what he even has in mind. Can anyone think of anything? Quartz/mechanical doesn't really matter. His only watch right now is a Tag Aquaracer Chrono quartz, so he might pref

Trying to find a 45.5 PO at a great price, any suggestions?
Hi all, I am new to the forum and i have been reading a lot of your great advises. That helped a lot on my journey deciding for my first rolex model: Daytona. I adore the Daytona, i feel in love with it after seeing the TT black MOP with diamonds, but now i have also seen the rose gold and find it very hard to decide. Which one do you like? which of the 2 do you think will hold the value best? I will hopefully never want to sell it, but who knows. My first Rolex will be bought in a Rolex store. hope you can help :)
