Seiko SNN243P2 wrist watches news:
On Saturday, November 8, Heritage Auctions is selling four timepieces possibly owned by President Harry S. Truman: an engraved Movado religious coin watch, a Baylor presented to President Truman in Texas, a gold-plated Vulcain Cricket, and a steel Longines. While we can say with confidence that the Movado and Baylor were Truman's, I don't believe we can be certain on the other two. Why?Back in February, Doyle New York auctioned some jewelry from the estate of Margaret Truman Daniel, the only child of President Harry S. Truman and First Lady Bess Truman. The items in the sale seemed to stay under-the-radar and someone cleaned up and got a great deal on a number of lots. Since then, some of the items have been listed at Heritage, including three timepieces back in May. However, the items were a jumble of pieces, including some from President Truman and Clifton Daniel, Margaret's husband. I believe we can say with confidence that the items personalized to President Truman were his, but it

Hello All,Now that my Panda is on the way, (should be here tomorrow) I figure why not start shopping for AP number 2. I originally was contemplating the Rolex DJ 116234 fluted bezel with oyster bracelet and black dial, but at 36mm I find it just a touch too small. In fact, if Rolex made a 39mm DJ I'd be all over it. The DJ II is just too big, with that massive fluted bezel staring right at you. Yes I know, they make a rounded bezel, but I'm not a big fan. Now that I've fallen for AP, I'm really liking the 15300 or 15400. So here we go. Cast your vote, and let's see who favours what, and why? Pics are always welcome. Thanks in advance.
Gang,I'm conflicted. I've been presented with the option on a 5940J. Would you trade three precious metal Rolexes for this application piece? Does Patek 5940J = YG GMTIIc + WG SubC + plat DD2 ???
