U-Boat Thousands of Feet wrist watches news:
I just went out and bought a Hamilton today. My local AD had a nice collection and I decided on a model from the Khaki line.So far the watch is a nice fit and looks real nice. However it appears to have come with the manual for a chronograph model? Is that normal?
Double scarce Scott today - white gold filled and enamel numeral dial.
My name's Nick. I'm 20 years old and I've had a fetish for watches for years, but it's never really matured because, lets face it, a teenager doesn't have money! But I've built up a decent collection over the years, at least for a teenager I think. My first real watch was a Skagen as a gift from my father. Since then I've collected a few, a Seiko, a Bulova, and I just got an Invicta Lefty Watch the other day as a Valentines day gift from my fiance (proposed the same weekend!). When she gave it to me, I think it clicked a switch inside my brain or something. I really like it a lot, and yet I find myself wanting more the last couple of days. I've been a long time shooter, knife collector, and cigar smoker, and am finally finding myself bit with the watch bug enough to put some serious money aside for something nice, maybe an Omega or Tag Heuer.Anyway, good to meet everybody. I can't believe how nice some of the watches I've seen in the forums here are. Wish I could afford some of this st
Got a new strap on my driver and wanted to share.
An AD in the Los Angeles area offered me no tax (10%) because I'm in the military and free deep cleanings on a SS Datejust with plain bezel and stick markers. Good or not? Also, I prefer the black, but how many of you would go for blue? Thanks.
