Ulysse Nardin 1600-100-8 wrist watches news:
We often see sports stars endorsing watch brands (as ambassadors), or specific models (within advertising). It's something a bit more on the rare side for a brand to create an edition in honor of a specific athlete - but that's exactly what Milus has done. The athlete in question is the footballer Roberto Carlos (wiki), who retired from the sport just last year. Starting with their Zetios Chronograph, Milus has incorporated, in a subtle manner, the colors of the Brazilian flag. And it's a welcome bit of color, set as it is against a carbon fiber dial and 45mm DLC-coated case.Set within the CF dial, you of course have the chronograph and small seconds subdials. The 30-minute chrono and small seconds registers are encircled in yellow, while the 12-hour register features a blue circle; all three sport color-matched hands. Rounding out the accent colors of the flag on the dial, you've got green appearing on the chapter ring to mark out the minutes.Depending on which of the three editi
It still has its original black face and patina. by lume on markers. We really love this watch for another reason. It represents a middle way in of vintage MLC. A high-quality, rare shows that has a much higher price, but that is not so expensive it is completely out of the question, such as the Polaris. We have found dozens of Memovoxes, but the authenticity is always an issue and many of them have a look in our view. This deep sea Master Mariner is a watch that really shows its roots LeCoultre, and we like it a lot. The price is $ 4,250. Click here for details and more photos.
Can someone confirm whether rolex makes a white gold rolex wave pen? I've seen posting and articles about the yellow gold rolex wave pen but never a white gold one.
I don't know why this has been bugging me, but I have to ask.If someone is a rock drummer, and they wear a watch with an automatic movement, can that movement be damaged by simply wearing it while playing? I'm not talking about a drummer playing Eagles songs, but a drummer playing, say hard rock. Think Jon Bonham/Keith Moon type playing.I shot the Goo Goo Dolls show here in St. Augustine last night, and the drummer removed his watch before they took the stage. I used to take mine off simply because I didn't like the feel of it on my wrist when I played, but now I'm wondering if there's a chance of damaging the movement the watch is worn while playing. These are the kinds of things I think of after only two cups of coffee...
Fellow Patek Enthusiasts,My name is George. I have been recently reading the Patek forum in anticipation of adding a Patek. I have seen many of your great pieces, and appreciate your vast collective knowledge of Patek. I am wondering if you could offer me your brief advice on my potential purchase(s) based on the following summary.I live a fairly casual lifestyle. I own my own company, and rarely dress formally ( rare charity events, weddings and funerals). I have many watches, but seem to wear my Rolex DeepSea the most as it seems to fit my lifestyle. The Pateks that I'm drawn to are the 5167A, 5130G/P, and of course the 5270 and it's predecessors in J/R. I have never spent more than 10K for a watch, so this is new territory for me. I don't view myself as a potential collector. I intend to buy what I love, and what I will wear. At the same time, I want to be prudent in my acquisitions.I plan to move on a 5167A soon, but am already plotting my next move!Any advice would be greatly
