New guy trying to identify gruen watch
Hello everyone.Just got my first Gruen wrist watch. Still dont get all the info from gruenwristwatches.Dont really understand how to read all the numbers and get the modelname och how much it is worth :/If some one can help me.Ok some info any way.Inside it says: 500 in the down right corner (i guess thats the cal)then the long serialnumber is: 335 87 and the last is 3 -6 or 8switzerland and so onOn the top of it is says: Seventeen17jewelson the back it says Gruen 10k gold filledinside of that it says cased and timed in usa by gruenwatch coand some more numbers 254/5012493002here are some picsimg100.imageshack.us/img100/7165/img2820q.jpgimg213.imageshack.us/img213/8223/img2821cj.jpgsorry for my english im from sweden.Best regards Tompa

Hi all,Its been a while since I last posted in TRF, however am always around reading up trying to understand as much as possible.Thanks to a very informative thread from Thomas (TWS) regarding the 41mm ROC strap conversion, I have made a list of the required parts. But, I do have a few questions I need your help with.AP ROC 41mm Strap Conversion:- Folding clasp DP.0402.018.ST (from reading up not comfortable, pls advise)- 18mm Tang AD.0288.018.ST (the Tang buckle is comfortable, pls advise)- 4 X Plots PL.222.014.ST- 2 X Screws for strap VI.254.066.ST- 2 X Nuts for screw above VI.253.056.ST- 4 X Screws for attaching strap to case VI.254.023.BCI intend to do the conversion on a 26320ST.OO.1220ST.03. 41mm ROC Blue Dial.Questions:1. I have a 165mm wrist size and I'm looking for advice on a Transocean chronograph. I prefer the 43mm case diameter with the Breitling in-house movement, but I'm a little concerned about the size.
