- The watch was just as it appeared on the site. It keeps accurate time and looks dressey enough to wear as best or everyday. I am very pleased.

- I really like the watch it is heavy weight and sturdy. The design is very classic and looks like an antique watch. I will be purchasing other watches.

Ulysse Nardin 246-55-8/30 wrist watches news:
I was just wonderingI have been recently offered for my Daytona 16523 a trade on:1) Porsche 928s year 1984 or2) Piece of land..Declined both offers but it made me just wonder if any of you guys have had this type of offers before?
I usually don't express these sorts of thoughts on forums, but I think quite a few here will be able to relateI was browsing "that other" Rolex forum earlier today, and read a post where someone had put a red/black NATO strap on his Daytona. Some of the responses to his post were downright rude! I'm a huge fan of freedom of expression, but rudeness is just not necessary. The odd thing is none of the responses were later deleted, either. If you don't like what someone's done to his/her watch, of course it's fine to say so (especially if the owner is asking for comments), but it is easily done without going over the line. Anyway, I have never seen that here, nor would I expect to! This is a far more civilized bunch. Cheers
My first Longines was a Dolce Vita. My wife bought it for me for my 30th birthday, nearly 10 years ago. I knew I wanted a watch, so we went into the city to look at a few jewellers to look for watches. I wanted a good watch, but not so good that I wouldn't wear it often. We saw the Longines Dolce Vita and both loved it. It had a classic look to it with the tank style. The style is reminiscent of watches from the early parts of last century, giving it some real class and style. The polished bracelet and white face made it very attractive without being too "bling". It was the one.Since then it has been my dress watch, worn for any dressy occasion. It goes well with a suit, but also with a nice shirt and jeans. It is still an active part of my regular rotation (although not recently, as it needs a battery and is well overdue for a service).
