A Speedmaster Pro water resistance question
I started this thread on another forum, but i figure I'd do it her too. Is 50m water resistance enough to swim with and for other light to medium water exposure like giving my kids a bath? I know that some say that 30m water resistance should only get very mild water exposure at most, and 50m does not seem to be all that much more. What are your experiences?Thanks,Dave

GMTIIc or No Date Sub?
I'm agonizing about my next purchase later this year and I can't decide between a GMTIIc or Sub Date, both SS.I own a T series Exp II, so I want a black dial now.There are pros & cons to both watches, on the one hand I already own a GMT "complication" but the Sub is not "updated" as the GMT yet.One the other hand I'm not crazy about the polished center links of the GMT but I want the new oyster bracelet (my ExpII doesn't even have solid links and I want a watch that will definitely not rattle). I know the sub has SEL, does it rattle? Is the new oyster bracelet that much better?Then there's the ceramic bezel and maxi case...Any comments or pros & cons?

Hello everybody! My 1st post here.I was wondering whether anyone has experience with ADs in NYC? (primarily Manhattan). Hamilton website produces a long list, but it would be cool to hear some personal impressions. I have never been to an authorized watch dealer before, tbh I bought my first watch online directly from the manufacturer. Would they have a full (or almost full) range of models to look at? Do they strictly sell at MSRP or are discounts available? Any specific questions I should ask them? I am looking at a 40mm Jazzmaster Viewmatic Auto, btw the MSRP is $625-675 depending on whether it is on a strap/bracelet, and discounts of around $200 are available from online dealers. How much over online price is considered "normal" for the convenience/manufacturer warranty? I'd like to handle the watch in person before buying, and I understand that running an actual store means they won't sell as cheap as online. On the other hand, I don't want to pay full MSRP if could j
