Breitling K13050 wrist watches news:
Looking for a last-minute gift guide to help you choose a watch for a friend or loved one? Then keep on walkin', 'cause this ain't that. There are watches and "gifts" in this article, but this isn't a "gift guide" where we just show you some watch stars from this year, and tell you what we think you should buy. We feel that's not actually entirely realistic and rarely helpful in real life. Instead, we decided it might be fun to do a "Fantasy" Secret Santa this year, with all our team members, and do a real-life, real-watches (meaning relatively accessible), real people (with fantasy money), watch "gifting" exchange, and see what happens. Our hope is to provide anecdotal insight into the thought process, some wisdom about watches (and gifting), and perhaps some entertainment. We've all been there. We want to share with a loved one the same joy we experience for a watch we love. We want that person to feel that good about something that we also love and then share that feeling with them a
I’m sure it’s out there somewhere, but it’s hard to think of a single wristwatch model from any company that excites as much of a sense of ownership, from owners and non-owners alike, as the Mark series from IWC. There are, arguably, better known watches – the Submariner springs to mind, for instance – but the Mark series is one in which IWC fans in particular, and watch enthusiasts in general, really feel a personal stake. Why is this the case? First of all, the Mark watches have a design with very broad appeal: they’re tool watches, and generally have been extremely basic in design, while at the same time being instantly recognizable and very attractive. That combination of completely utilitarian appearance and aesthetic appeal is very powerful – especially because the aesthetics were not deliberate, but rather, an organic consequence of utilitarian considerations, and therefore seem much more genuine than if the goal had been producing a des
As some of you know I bought this great tapestry dial from Leo I sent my Datejust to the AD and he changed to the new dial and I love it! But after maybe a day I notice this black particle laying on the face of the dial. It is located right between 03:00 and 04:00 So I call my AD and tells them there is a black particle on the face of my dial. But the watchmaker was away and will not be back again in 1-2 weeks. So I had to call again then.It is a very tiny little particle but each time I look at my watch to see what the time is I first see the black particle then the time. I just can't manage not to look at it or think of it. I posted a photo of a cat yesterday and that photo really fits this thread so I'll post it again Photos of the watch will come later. I just have not had the time to take some photos yet.
Got this new chronograph. Its by Poljot (Russia). Apparently they made 4000 of these for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Each of them has a serial # as well. Manual watch.Any further information on this model is welcome. Some pics below...
I thought this might be a fun thread topic. I wasn't thinking watch or wrist specific, but something else. Like this one:I was on a mission trip in Nicaragua and saw this stand, er I mean, authorized dealer. I failed to get over there and check out the Spring Drives. I love those ;-)B
