Ulysse Nardin 266-66-3 wrist watches news:
We know that tourbillon watches are expensive. The complex little movements are at a premium based on the difficultly of manufacture and the prestige of owning one. The bar has been set pretty high with all variations of multi axis tourbillons and flying tourbillons that give a great view of the action. What ever happened to just the basic tourbillon? Because more tourbillon watches go for $50k and up, the proprietors of such luxuries feel the need to spruce them up with lots of gilding and fancy appointments to justify the prices. That is typically the case with most tourbillon watches that feel more a like novelty than like something worth wearing on a daily basis. But it doesn't need to be that way.The Nivrel "Sea" series has always been a diver's watch line that I have admired. I know of Nivrel's reputation for high quality construction and meticulous attention to detail (what else would you expect from a serious German watch maker?), and now I know that they have gently entered in
Hi there,I own a IWC DaVinci in White gold ( old model) see picture.I was wondering what this watch is worth today, but cant find any on the internet.Sorry for the bad picture.Does anybody know?Thx
This is not a review. It is just a thread that displays a bunch of pictures of my two favorite watches: Grand Seiko SBGM003 and JLC Mastermoon. Keep in mind that the JLC is over 10 years old, while the GS is only a month old. Also pardon me for some dust in the pictures; I thought I cleaned them both but under macro, dust still shows up.Let me know which one do you like more in terms of finish.Enjoy
One of my favorite watches - which one do you guys prefer?? White or black dial?Would love to hear your thoughts in this thread - and/or feel free to vote in our poll: IWC Portuguese Yacht Club ¨C Black or White Dial? Thanks.
Bought my first AP from SohAIS AIS Watches and am excited to get it tomorrow - Aamir has been great to work with! It's the ROO 25940SK.OO.D002CA.03 Black Dial. Quick questions for everyone:What watch winder do you recommend for the watch and the appropriate settings?Would you only get the watch serviced at the AP Boutique (I'm in NYC so lots of options)? What's the best way to clean the rubber band and also rubber bezel? The band is relatively cheap ($300) but not sure if AP replaces the bezel as well when serviced.Last question, promise - to ensure the watch is water proof and keeping accurate time do you recommend taking it to AP or a place such as Tourneau. AP said they'd need to send it out and it could take a few weeks.Best,Scott
