Ulysse Nardin 263-67-3/42 wrist watches news:
You've followed us on Instagram and Twitter, you've seen the teaser, and now it's time to show you what we were up to all along the #roadtobasel. This will be a multi-part video series documenting Ben and Will's voyage from Paris, through Burgundy to Geneva, to the Vallée de Joux, back to Geneva, through the Mont Blanc tunnel to Lake Como and Milan, up to Lucerne, and finally on to Basel itself. In episode one, we visit the historic maison of one of the world's greatest watchmakers – Vacheron Constantin. When we told them we were coming, they asked us what we wanted to see. We said, "show us the three watches you are most proud of." And that's exactly what we saw that day in Geneva, and what you'll see here today – three previously unseen, incredibly important, and massively rare complicated watches from Vacheron's own internal historical department. 1 OF 3 The first watch dates to 1884 and is a two-faced perp
It's Hockey Night...What's On Your Wrist Todayinfo from www.anonimousa.comSaving the Florentine Tradition of Military Watch Making Attending a business luncheon, the conversation among the Florentine business people turned to one of Florence's most important industries:fashion. News of an important acquisition was just beginning to shift from the realm of private negotiations to the public domain via leaders in the business community. The Bad News: The Loss of a TraditionThe news was not the kind that Italians - especially Florentine Italians - liked to hear. Italians, proud of their talents in design and craftsmanship, are loathe to learn when a prized national product is in danger of not just being aquired, but removed completely from domestic production. This is especially true when that removal appears to be...forever. Such an event, Florence's leaders of commerce agreed, would signal the end of an era of Tuscan watchmaking pride and honor. An Original LostMany who read these words k
Hey All:Getting ready for the horse race and was realizing that I have 4 watches that are essentially my go to watches.I started to think, that all of us probably have a go to watch or watches. So the question of the day is, what is it that makes a watch(or watches) one of your favorites, one that you want to wear above almost all others/I look forward to your responses.
I can't believe no-one has used this topic title yet for their new Snoopy So when I saw today's Telegraph magazine cover it seemed like I should take some pics of mine Now the new Silver Snoopy interested me but I'm afraid I just can't like it. The overly busy dial, the gaudy, ott lume that looks like a chav/redneck Christmas tree and the lack of bracelet (interested to see one on bracelet though) aren't doing it for me at all sadly. It got me thinking though that I missed my original Snoopy and a quick search online turned up a full set unworn example with super low serial number which I quickly snapped up. Obviously the first thing to do with an unmarked 12 year old watch is wear it and scratch it up some which you'll be pleased to hear is exactly what i've done These things are meant to be worn as tool watches after all So, anyway, here's to the famous Beagle, 65 years old a couple of months ago and still looking cool as ever
