Ulysse Nardin 263-33-7/91 wrist watches news:
This newcomer to the Historiques collection is inspired by a model created during the post-war years. Its pink gold 31.2 x 44. 55mm case embodies a complex construction. ¡°Aronde¡± is an Old French word for a swallow¡¯s wings, and it refers to the original double-rounded curve unfurling almost like wings along the case flanks. The opaline silvered dial is adorned with a fine hand-guilloch¨¦. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. This distinctive piece with a vintage spirit is powered by Calibre 1400 AS, a mechanical hand-wound movement, bearing the Hallmark of Geneva, developed and manufactured in-house by Vacheron Constantin. This piece has a style all its own, and it harks back to the days when a successful writer, artist, or other creative individual might express their position through the timepiece on their wrist. The USA retail price is $26,200.Technical data appears below the images, which may be enlarged with a click. Because of our various family commitments on Christmas Day, we all gather on the Saturday before for lunch followed the exchange and opening of gifts. Our traditional "turkey and dressing" dinner occurs at Thanksgiving so our "Christmas dinner" will be at a local restaurant that we all enjoy. This year, as last year, we will be enjoying Mexican food and margaritas. After eating we will drive to our oldest daughter's house to open presents.Among the packages we will be carrying to Gwen's tomorrow is one Santa left early with my name on it. It appears to be about the size, shape, and weight of a watch box and it doesn't rattle. What could it be? Fr. John+
I know we all love that gorgeous duet of cool steel and warm gold, so let's see some of those TT watches! Cheers
Stumbled across this at the Heritage Auctions site.just wondering if Masonic symbols on watches are unusual or not? Anyone else have one?lf.jpgSorry, the pic is a bit small to be of any use (click on it for a slightly bigger pic), but full-size image is here:Two Gold Filled Wristwatches, Hamilton Masonic & Longines Mystery. Case: gold filled. Dial: silver, mystery disc and Masonic symbols. Movement: manual, both 17 jewels. Timepieces: WristwatchI actually think the Longines Mystery looks a bit better IMHO, but they're both interesting.
I love digital watches with their big fast easy reading time displays. I now wear a Casio HT-G G shock wave receptor atomic watch. Anyone know of a digital with even bigger readouts?Art KramerWW II Bombardier
