Quote on cleaning, are they in line with others expectations?
I have search locally for a place to service/clean watches and wondering if the numbers he quoted me are hug/low/right on.Checking on on-line reviews he was given good feedback.I have a 1930's Westclox, a Sieko Navigator GMT automatic, and a chronograph with a Landeron 189 movement.When I asked a ball park on cleaning he said the Westclox $100, the Sieko, $140, and the chronograph $340.I am wondering for ball park quotes to cleaning and oiling if these are what to expect. I understand that there would be unforeseen problems, and repaired needed, but it it ends up just as a clean and oil if this is what to expect with most repair shops?Thanks
