- This is a large man's watch with a very wide band. Classy but very manly. Loved it. Comes with separate bracelet, don't think I'll be wearing that...

Vacheron Constantin 91002 wrist watches news:
As newbie i would like to say hello to all members of this great forum.i had already open a Omega Speedmaster 40th Anniversary owners group, what did you think about this ?It should be for all owners of this amazing edition. Fell free to post pics, accessories, stories etc. about this watch. The idea came cause i search for the one which ownes the "1624" i got the "2416" (remember the mission launched at the 16th of july and ends succesfully at 24th of july in 1969) so this serials are little bit more spezial.Greetings Ingo
I came accross a Hamilton Meadowbrook. Is it worth anything. It is stamped 14K gold on the inside.
As we wait with anticipation for John's review of his new Seiko Premier 6R20 Power Reserve, we will drool over a variation of this watch:
I saw an article on the Fox News website yesterday about technology items that are becoming "extinct". One of those items the author declared was extinct was wristwatches. Apparently, with cell phones and other devices having the time on them, wristwatches are no longer being worn..."except by those that grew up with them".I agree that cell phones and mobile PCs, and iPods all will let you know the time; wristwatches do it with more style and elegance than the other devices. Wearing a watch is not always just having the time handy (and to me it's still easier to look at my wrist than pull my phone off my belt), it's about having a product that has style (anything from Rolex to Timex has style as far as I'm concerned). It's also about having something that in many cases is hand built with tolerances that require the utmost skill to pull off. It's about technology that will never become obsolete. The human hand that builds watches my become extinct, but in 100 years from now a watc
At work none the less. Sean Connery (John Allen) made an appearance. Event was called Caritas a silent auction benefit dinner black tie $275 a plate with an extensive silent auction inventory all with the James Bond "Licensed to Thrill" theme. It was quite the event and I had the privilege to guard ZAO's Jaguar XKR from the movie Die Another Day (car straight from the movie) as well as the entrance to the event.Only thing that disappointed me was with the extensive silent auction inventory there weren't any watches on hand :( . How can you have a James Bond benefit silent auction event/dinner and no James Bond watches? Aw well. Mr. Allen did a very good job. Talked like Sean, demeanor like Sean, the works. I picked him up from the Empress Casino and people were taking pictures with him in the lobby and everything. He even had a personal photo of him with the real Mr. Connery and I couldn't tell the difference.
