Jacob & Co. JC-30g 3.25 carat bezel wrist watches news:
The periphery of the dial has a scale range finder, so the tachometer scale occupies the centre, where it is wound as the shell of a snail for a sufficient length to allow measures tachometer up to three minutes of the period. The case of mm 43.5 exquisite white gold of the legendary this Montblanc P10 bursts of Minerva 16-29. This caliber has all horological and chronometric features of sky: a balance of large and heavy with adjustment along the rim screws; a balance of spring with a curve Terminal Philips; a Swan neck adjustment mechanism; a chronograph in the shape of V-bridge; meticulously and manually beveled and finely finished chronograph-lever; Classic horizontal coupling; and a wheel column to control the chronograph function."Implementation function", i.e. the exact abrasion to adjust the lever Chronograph, takes several hours, craft careful manual with number 1, 000ths of a millimetre accuracy.
Sorry if I am in the wrong area but I have a Tudor Tiger with the Yellow dial. Can anyone give me an idea what it might be worth ?It is recent vintage and still has the purple sticker on the back. I have worn the watch. Thanks for your help !Gary
I know several members here have bought from Malaysia, but how is it to ship there? Any hang-ups or potential snags I should know about? Thanks!
Greeting fellow watch enthusisats and WIS'.. No forum privileges to post my question in the apt technical forum, so..I'm interested in a quality mid-high end watch loupe that is reasonably priced relative to glass/performance. Preferably German, Swiss, or even Japanese if anyone are familiar with loupes. Or the best ones money can buy Any input, experience & recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks,Jobe
Last year my 233 had to be serviced because the hour hand would get stuck around midnight. Even though all my watches see very limited use because of my heavy rotation I was ok with it since I had the watch for a few years and I bought it used... surprisingly, I found the major service reasonable at around $800. More importantly, they did a good job and did not damage my watch or left any dust/lint under the crystal (IĄŻve read the many horror stories from PASC so I was worried as hell)... and all in about 2 months if I recall correctly. Fast forward to this past weekend... my PAM 305 now seems to have an issue that will require servicing. Seems to be getting stuck around 10:45 pm and when adjusting the date by moving the hour hand it does not Ą°clickĄ± every hour like it used to (can still hear the click but itĄŻs very faint now and weak on the notches if you know what I mean). So another trip to Panerai BH... can only cross my fingers that this time will also be a reasonable service cost
