As a brand, Tissot really seems to be on quite a tear as of late. They have had quite a few notable new releases over the last few months, and now we are getting word of a sort of second wave. Most of them seem like reasonable additions to the lineup, but there is one in particular that caught our attention: the Tissot Chemin Des Tourelles Squelette.As you can quite readily tell from the photos here, this is a skeleton watch (and that's what squelette translates to from French ¨C skeleton). Earlier this week, I pulled the trigger on this gorgeous JDM Citizen Attesa "Jet Setter" series ATV53-3022 with the U680 radio controlled movement:The Eco-Drive movement caliber U680 in this watch can sync in the USA, Japan, Europe (Germany's DCF-77 signal) and China. Its got a 3.5 year power reserve (In power save mode), world time for 44 cities, automatic adjustment for daytime savings light (or summer time), 2 alarms, countdown timer, 24 hour chronograph, LCD display backlight, lumed hands and dial markers etc.This Attesa features full Duratect Titanium construction and sapphire crystal with AR coating (Not clear yet if it has dual AR coating).Another feature I love about this watch is the ability to adjust the clasp on the fly like a Rolex. Not exactly, what I'm looking, but it does have the large date and month. Plus it is an annual calendar, which means, I think, it needs to only be change on Feb 28th....?A really nice movement from ML, with 49 jewels and adjusted to 3 positions (I think).Local jewelery store has what I consider a great deal on since it is a discoed model.
