- I love this watch. When I took it to a local jewlery store to have the links taken out, the salesman was in shock. He loved the watch and wanted to know where I got it from. I love this watch and would recommend it to anyone.

Omega Omega 49160 wrist watches news:
Understand that as I start this thread I am not giving any certified investment advice. I¡¯m not an investment authority but I am generalizing some of the data I am seeing. And sort of asking if everyone else sees the same thing I do.When I recently sent my GMT in for service Rolex told me the value of the watch is $7000. That was even before the latest overhaul so I guess the basic device has some sort of marketable price point at all times. I¡¯ve seen the same watch on the web for anywhere from $4500 to $12000 which seems pretty high unless the watch was worn in some film by a celebrity. I paid $145 for this watch some 44 years ago. If I do some quick math by taking the current value and subtracting maintenance costs at Rolex over the years of about $1750, I estimate the return on that $145 at about 2.5% p.a. over 44 years. That ain¡¯t bad considering I¡¯ve had the joy of wearing the watch all that time. After doing some research on the web recently and finding this site I see ther
Hi all, I'm getting this, could anyone confirm it is good from the picture? Thanks
I'm pleased to announce the creation of the new WATCH TALK FORUMS American Watch Forum - a place to celebrate American Watch Making, and discuss any and all watches (old and new) which are made in America. Please join me in welcoming the two newest additions to the WTF Admin Team, Ham X Guy and RJ007 - both have agreed to be your moderators here in the new American Watch Forum. Had a busy few months with work commitments but managed to take a day out for a quick visit to London and there they were shouting out to me
Anybody seen the newish Blue dial Aqua Terra as worn by James Bond in Skyfall????Its strange really as all the Omega campaigns are showing Bond with the Omega PO however most of the film he switches to the Aqua Terra, Omega acknowledge this on their website but the campaign is all around another PO (Bonds third model in 3 films)Anyhow, I was not fussed on the AT however passing a few shops I must admit it looks great in the flesh so to speak!!Anybody tried or own one?? Not really much mention about this specific model amongst the tons of Skyfall threads
