Hublot 542.ZX.1170.RX.1104 wrist watches news:
This year at BaselWorld, Blancpain followed up last year's Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe (HODINKEE "A Week On The Wrist" review here) with a chronograph in a similar form. That's cool and all, but to me the most interesting aspect of this watch is not the available fully ceramic case, or the NATO with ridiculously hardcore hardware, or the general sleekness of the end product. Nay – the most interesting part of this new Bathyscaphe is actually what's inside. This is the first Blancpain to feature the brand new caliber F385, which is a ground-up new concept for them and a fairly impressive new development that doesn't seem to have gotten a lot of attention. That's about to change. 2 OF 24 First, the details of the watch. Sized at 43mm and available in either full ceramic or satin-brushed stainless steel, the chronograph is 300m water resistant and holds on to many of the design traits seen in last year's time-only Bathyscaphe. Like the greatest of Russian autobiographers, Alexander Herzen, much time was needed for the events in my life to settle into ¡°a perspicuous thought,¡± a thought I could convey in both a meaningful and written form. Like Herzen, too, some of my thoughts were uncomfortable and melancholy, but in writing I was able to reconcile them, after several unsatisfactory attempts, with my rational faculty. Artand for me the art of writingis an outward integration inspired by a degree of inner disintegration. Having a watch to let me know what time it is did not help in the slightest with my emotional life, although it did have immense practical value especially when I was a teacher with 30 children in my class-Ron Price, Tasmania

Here's my situation. I'm going to have enough cash to buy a $18000 watch very soon but am thinking about trading my GSOTM, RLX 16610, RLX 5330, and cash for a 5167/1a with extra tropical strap/deployant way I can purchase another higher end watch with the cash. I'm getting to the point where I'm drawn more towards $10,000 and up watches way more than the $5000-$8000 models and feel they would make an overall better collection even though I would have fewer to rotate. I only have a few exceptions to this rule with models that fall around the $7000-$8000 range which I truly love. Would trading the 16610 with box and papers plus a sealed red second hand, GSOTM box and papers and sealed black gator deployant strap, RLX 5330 boxes and manual plus extra non OEM gator strap, and say $4000 cash be a reasonable deal for both me and the seller? And, would you do it? I figure the seller could sell the 16610 for $5000, the GSOTM for $6750, the 5330 for $2500 fast, and then the second hand and stra
