Invicta 12926 wrist watches news:
Here is a cool idea that is more than just a concept, but actually being done right now. Pictured above is the "Green Watch" and it is part of the la Montre Verte City Pulse project currently taking place in Paris France. It was started by the FING (Fondation Internet Nouvelle Generation) The project's goal is to create a system to measure air and noise pollution in urban centers, eventually learning how to create environmentally sustainable cities. There are currently three prototype Green Watches being worn that have air and noise sensors. The watches collect information and use a mobile phone that the wearer has to transmit information back for the database. Hey guys.. Got a few bracelet prices tonight, and thought they were interesting. They were all odd price amounts that I don't remember (Like $1,270 or something like that), so I've rounded them up or down to the nearest $100. All are stainless steel versions & include the bracelet & clasp.Sub or YM $1,300GMT IIc $1,700Daytona $2,000I thought it was interesting that the Daytona is more expensive than the GMT IIc's. Personally, I like the clasp of the GMT IIc bracelet better than the Daytona. But it's interesting that they're cheaper. Also, that the Sub & YM are the same price, though the YM has solid center links where the Sub isn't.
Im looking at buying one of these guys as a christmas gift to myself. Just wondered how everyone felt about them. I love the lug design, and I love that its 44mm. Perfect size for me. So if anyones got pics (wristshots included!!) would you mind throwing them up here? Also, hows the fit and finish, general quality? Theyre really affordable, in a brand that Ive never heard many complaints about, so just checking to see what everyone thinks.THANKS!! John
Hey guys!I've been roaming these forums for a while, but had never posted or contributed ....hoping to change that! I had lusted over the AP RO 15400 Blue Dial for a while, but after seeing/trying on both the Blue and Silver dials...the Silver dial just did it for me!! I had hoped to pick one up before the Jan 1st price increase, but couldn't work out a deal, I was comfortable with, with the ADs I visited. Until today, when I went over to Hing Wa Lee Jewelers** AD over in San Gabriel, Ca. A bit of a drive (from the LAX area) but I must say, if you live anywhere near LA, this place is a dream! Beautiful space full of high-end brands, and great staff. Check them out if you get a chance. So, I met with one of the sales agents, May, and mentioned that I was ready to make a purchase, and just needed to work out a price. I ended up doing a package deal adding a 31mm Silver Stick Dial Datejust (ref: 178274) on a jubilee bracelet for my fianc¨¦e, and can say that I'm very happy with the final
